Squaw Creek Geese

More than one million snow geese have flocked to the Squaw Creek Wildlife refuge near Mound City.
The migration takes place annually, bringing revenue in to the area.
Wildlife Biologist for Squaw Creek, Darrin Welchert, says the refuge sits in the intersection of two major migratory paths.

Welchert adds the climate conditions of the area also helps bring the birds in.
