In 1940, Missouri made an effort to reduce politics in the judicial system with the Missouri NonPartisan Court Plan.
Recently, State Senator Brad Lager, a Republican from Savannah, Missouri, voiced his opinions on the plan, and its effects.
Lager says, in an effort to maintain judicial ethics, we must hold the government accountable.
Lager adds the Missouri NonPartisan Court Plan is still a work in progress.
