Northwest Provost Resigns

Northwest Missouri State University Provost Dr. Doug Dunham will be leaving the Maryville campus Jun. 30, 2014.  Dunham has accepted the vice-president for academic affairs position at Rockhurst University in Kansas City.  Dunham says there are a couple of reasons for making the career change.

Dunham has been at Northwest since 1995 when he was hired as an assistant professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences. Dunham has served the university as chair of the Department of Behavioral Sciences from 2005 to 2007, interim director of the Office of Assessment, Information and Analysis and associate provost. He was appointed interim provost in 2009 and officially was named provost in 2010.
