Northwest Partnership in Kansas City

Northwest Missouri State University joins a partnership in Kansas City to create the Northland Innovation campus in Gladstone. The university will work with the city of Gladstone, North Kansas City Schools and Metropolitan Community College (MCC) Maple Woods to create the center designed for enhanced educational and research opportunities.
North Kansas City Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Todd White, says the cooperative effort will benefit his school district in a number of different ways.

The Northland Innovation Center will be constructed in downtown Gladstone and serve as a non-traditional educational environment for students. Northwest President, Dr. John Jasinski, says student learning will be enhanced by the partnership.

Yesterday's announcement in Gladstone continues Northwest's partnership with North Kansas City Schools and MCC Maple Woods. Northwest's Kansas City Center moved in January 2014 to the MCC Maple Woods campus on Northeast Barry Road.
