Northwest Missouri State University's annual Student Juried Art Exhibition opens next week. The exhibition traditionally includes ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, printmaking, photography, graphic design, painting, and drawing. The exhibit's guest juror, Neil Lawley, will choose the artwork included in the exhibit. Lawley will give an artist lecture to commemorate the exhibit's opening at 7 p.m. Monday evening in the Charles Johnson Theater in the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building. Awards for the exhibition will be announced in conjunction with the opening lecture. The exhibition opens Monday in the Olive DeLuce Arts Gallery on the Northwest Campus and continues through Friday, Apr. 25, 2014. The Art Gallery is open 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday evenings, one to five Tuesday through Saturday afternoons, and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday afternoons.
