New Policy for Savannah Schools

The Savannah Board of Education is looking into a new policy that would help solve a chronic problem.
The new policy would give teachers an incentive to notify the district earlier before leaving the school.
Under the proposed policy, teachers who give notice by January 10th would be payed $500.
Those who wait until February 10th could receive $250.
Superintendent Dr. David Brax says implementing this policy could bring better teachers to the district.
