March 10, 2014 | By: Andy Campbell
March is National Nutrition Month and the theme this year is "Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right."
According to a release from the University of Missouri Extension, taste is the number one motivation when making diet choices, but using this information to make the right choices is not always easy.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics released a set of tips and ideas for getting your diet on the right track.
Some of these tips include caramelizing onions to bring out flavors, and peppering up your meat.
National Nutrition Month continues throughout the remainder of March.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics urges people to continue making good choices year round.
