Missouri Academy Student Honored

A Missouri Academy student has been selected for a statewide program that recognizes some of Missouri's top high school students.
Missouri Scholars 100 is a program sponsored by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.
Rose Marinaro is in her second year at the Missouri Academy of Science, Mathematics and Computing at Northwest Missouri State.
Academy Dean Cleo Samudzi says Marinaro's work ethic combined with her leadership qualities helped propel her to the honor.
An academy student has been selected by the committee every year since 2006 but Samudzi says more students from his school should be a part of the list.
