Maryville Downtown Organization

One local businessman is taking the reigns on an idea first proposed as part of the Maryville Dream initiative.
Rapid Refill Owner Matt Gaarder is spearheading the effort to begin the Downtown Maryville Improvement Organization.
The group, led by Gaarder, would promote local business' and revitalization downtown.
Gaarder says, while improvements have been made to the area, business owners must take more responsibility.

Gaarder added the group established bylaws Monday, allowing them to register as a non profit organization.
According to Gaarder, this designation will allow the organization to do more things for the community.
