Low Achievers Going to College

Missouri students with the lowest level of scholastic achievement would be at the top of the line for their school of choice if a measure passes the General Assembly.
St. Joseph Senator, Rob Schaaf, disagrees with giving struggling students the priority pick of schools.

But the sponsor of the idea says the lowest performing students are the ones with the greatest need.
The Head of the Line bill would apply to students who want to transfer out of an unaccredited school.
