Parents of children with terminal illnesses testified at the Missouri state capitol on Monday in favor of legalizing marijuana.
Brandy Johnson says her 10-year-old son Tres is the only living patient with a rare disease that causes him to have several uncontrollable seizures.
Johnson says she has exhausted all of her medical options for her son and decriminalization of marijuana use could mean the difference for his life.
The committee made no immediate action on the bill.
