Irrigation Scheduling Meeting

Farmers in Northwest Missouri have the chance to set up an irrigation schedule at a meeting in Holt County next month.
The Holt County Extension office will hold an irrigation scheduling meeting in Oregon on Thursday, April 10, 2014.
Regional Agronomy Specialist, Wayne Flanary, says the purpose of the meeting is to increase the efficiency of growers applying water to their crops.

Flanary says that those who attend will be able to set up irrigation schedules using planting date, hybrid maturity, and soil texture.
Pre-registration for the program is necessary. You may do so by calling the Holt County Extension office at 660-446-3724.
The meeting will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Extension office located at 100 South Main Street in Oregon, Mo.
