Honey War Program

The Nodaway County Historical Society Museum will open the year with a Second Saturday program entitled "The Honey War."

Lois Jean Ellison of Braddyville, Iowa, will present the program.

Board Member of the Nodaway County Historical Society, Melissa Middleswart, says "The Honey War" is an interesting part of history in this area.

Middleswart adds Ellison is a former teacher from Northwest Missouri.

"The Honey War Program" will be held at the Nodaway County Historical Society Museum in Maryville.

The program will be Saturday, Mar. 8, 2014 at 1 pm.

The NCHS has a number of other Second Saturday and Sunday afternoon activities planned throughout the year.
