Fight Against Hunger Campaign

A Nodaway County food pantry could see big benefits from a nation wide challenge.
The Fight Against Hunger Campaign will run through April and collections will be reported as part of the Feinstein Challenge.
The Feinstein Foundation gives away a million dollars to different non-profit food pantries.  The more a pantry raises the more of the one million dollars they receive.
Ministry Center Board Member, Jenny Halley, says the collection is not about the money but about the awareness it brings to the community.

During last year's Feinstein Challenge, Halley says the Ministry Center raised $29,000 and 40,000 pounds of food.
She adds that the Ministry Center served over 200.000 pounds of food to more than 2,000 families.
To help in this year's Fight Against Hunger Campaign you can make food or cash donations to the Maryville Ministry Center.
