Cans and Cardboard Food Drive

A Northwest Missouri State fraternity will end a food drive by spending a night outside.
Members of the Kappa Pi honorary art fraternity will stay overnight in cardboard shelters to raise awareness about poverty.
Kappa Pi, along with students from Northwest's National Panhellenic Council, Catholic Center, Sigma Society, Alpha Gamma Rho, Phi Mu, NSDA and Health and Human Services Future Professionals, will participate in the annual Cans and Cardboard canned food drive.
The event begins 5 p.m. Friday afternoon Apr. 11, 2014 and will go until 10 a.m. Saturday morning Apr. 12, 2014.
Individuals interested in donating may bring canned items to The Station's lawn during the event or to the J.W. Jones Student Union from 11 until 2 Wednesday Apr. 9, 2014 through Friday Apr. 11, 2014.
The event will benefit Maryville's Ministry Center.
