Byler's Woodworking Fire

A Northwest Missouri business was destroyed by fire over the weekend.  Officials report Byler's Woodworking shop and an attached home were destroyed in a fire late Saturday night on Route A-B, 12 miles north of Maryville.
Response units from West Nodaway, Clearmont and Maryville were able to put out the flames, but not before the fire caused total damage to the home and workshop of Dave Byler. No one was injured in the fire.
According to West Nodaway Fire Protection District fire chief Bob Smith, there will be no investigation as the fire was deemed an accident.
