KCP&L is offering customers a chance to help others who are struggling to pay their utility bills.
Director of Public Affairs for KCP&L, Elizabeth Danforth, says the Dollar-Aide Program has provided over four million dollars in utility assistance since 1982.
Danforth says the Energy Gift Program is a program that allows you to make make a payment towards the KCP&L bill of a friend or a family member. Energy Gift givers do not have to be KCP&L customers. More information on how to contribute to the two programs is available at www.kcpl.com/EnergyGift.
