Program on Savannah Sanitorium History

You may attend a history program about the Savannah Sanitorium this Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Andrew County Museum in Savannah, Mo.

Collections Volunteer Carole Johnson will present the program. Johnson says the main focus of her program is on cancer specialist, Perry Nichols.

Johnson adds Nichols died before the completion of the building but that the sanitorium continued to operate until 1956.
