Mound City Crash

A Mound City woman is in serious condition after a single car accident yesterday afternoon in Holt County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Tequitha Griffin was headed west on County Road 223, five miles south of Mound City at 1:30 yesterday afternoon.
Griffin lost control of her 2001 Ford Explorer due to snowy conditions and began to spin off the left side of the road.
Her vehicle then struck a tree and came to rest on its wheels.
Griffin was transported by Atchison-Holt Ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center in Saint Joseph with serious injuries.
Griffin's son, Daniel Griffin was riding in the passenger seat but was not injured in the accident.
Both were wearing their seatbelts.
