Feb. 12, 2014ST. JOSEPH, Mo. | By: B. Nuelle
Two Missouri congressmen have introduced bills in the Missouri General Assembly to transform healthcare.
State Representative Keith Frederick and State Senator Rob Schaaf of St. Joseph introduced identical healthcare bills different from the Affordable Care Act.
Schaaf says there are three parts to these bills.
Schaaf says with healthcare costing so much, even a small percentage drop can mean a lot.
Schaaf says the legislation also addresses Medicaid reform with a pilot program using health savings accounts for people who qualify.
