Groundwater Monitoring Services

The Maryville City Council approved the Groundwater Monitoring Services for the Sanitary Landfill by SCS Aquaterra at their biweekly meeting last night.
According to Maryville Mayor Jim Fall, this item of business was an effort to make sure that the garbage buried in the landfill stays out of the City's water system.
Also at the Council's meeting, the Board approved the bid they received from the Barnard Fire Protection District for the City's 1982 Ford 8000 Fire Truck. The City of Maryville decided to auction off its 1982 Ford 8000 Fire Truck at their previous meeting due to the purchase of a new fire truck. Barnard Fire Protection District's bid was set at $5,785.
