Chuck D in Maryville

Legendary rapper and political activist Chuck D spoke on the Maryville campus last night. Chuck D's lecture was part of the Northwest Missouri State University Student Activities Council lecture series. Chuck D is a member of the hip-hop band Public Enemy and last year was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 
Chuck D says his message to college students is to make the most of their time on campus.

Chuck D serves as a spokesperson for Rock the Vote, National Urban League, Americans for the Arts Council and the National Alliance for African-American Athletes. He is also an advocate for the Partnership for a Drug Free America.
