MoDOT Urges Caution

With the recent arctic blast moving its way out of the northwest Missouri area, MoDOT officials are reminding motorists to remain aware of road conditions.

Customer Relations Manager for MoDOT, Melissa Black, says even though snow and ice may melt throughout afternoons, there is the possibility of refreezing throughout the mornings.

Black adds its important for people to keep an emergency kit in their vehicles in the case of being stranded on the side of the road in below zero temperatures.
