Maryville City Council Meeting

The Maryville City Council met for their regular session last night.
During the meeting, the council heard arguments regarding the Comprehensive Alcohol Strategy introduced for discussion.
The council also approved the 2014 Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday.
City Manager, Greg McDanel, says the holiday is a chance for citizens to go green, tax free.

McDanel adds that the council also approved the participation in the Nodaway County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan.

During last night's Comprehensive Alcohol Strategy discussion, the council approved an ordinance raising the bar entry age from 19 to 21, effective July 1st of this year.
