Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Northwest Missouri State's Office of Intercultural Affairs will host activities honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. today.
The third annual Peace Brunch begins at 11:00 a.m. in the J-W Jones Student Union Ballroom.
Robert N. Page Jr. will serve as the keynote speaker at the brunch. Page serves as assistant to the president at the Penn Valley Campus of Metropolitan Community College.
The Office of Intercultural Affairs will also begin its third annual Peace March at 1:30 p.m. in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom and concludes at the Nodaway County Courthouse in downtown Maryville.
Participants will be provided with signs to carry if they choose. They are also encouraged to make and bring signs that promote peace, equality, justice and unity.
A presentation from the National Pan-Hellenic Council will take place at the courthouse
