Jan. 28, 2014GRANT CITY, Mo. | By: Kat Marsh
The Missouri Office of Administration is now taking management contract bids for the Grant City License Office. Interested groups and individuals have until February 21 to submit bids. Potential bidders can tour the Grant City office on February 5, 2014 to learn more about how the license office operates.
The Missouri Department of Revenue oversees 182 license offices, each operated by independent agents. In 2009, all license offices were put out for bid under the competitive procurement process.
Bids will be assessed on areas such as expertise of the personnel, proposed methods of management and whether the individual or group is not-for-profit, a political subdivision, a Missouri Certified Minority Business Enterprise, a Women Business Enterprise or a Missouri Service-Disabled Veteran Enterprise.
The tour of the Grant City office will be held February 5, 2014 from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Again, bids will be accepted up to February 21, 2014.
More information about licensing bids as well as a Request for Proposal is available at oa.mo.gov.
