The blast of arctic temperatures seems a part of the past with the high this weekend expected to reach into the 50's.
While the weather is expected to stay dry over the next few weeks, colder air is moving south once again according to lead forecaster for the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill, Evan Bookbinder.
Bookbinder adds while more cold temperatures are ahead, area residents should be more concerned with the current wind.
Bookbinder adds no major winter storms are in the immediate forecast.
