2013 was a busy year for Missouri Department of Transportation construction projects in northwest Missouri. A report released by the department's St. Joseph office shows several major were completed. In Buchanan and Dekalb Counties Highway 36 was resurfaced from Route A-C to Route 31 North on the Eastbound lanes.
The twin bridges were also replaced in Clinton County south of Route V on I-35.
Pavement repair on I-35 from US highway 69 to Route C and Resurfacing of the Southbound lanes from Cameron to US highway 69 north has begun in Daviess County and is expected to be completed next spring.
In Gentry County drainage and sidewalks were improved on US Business Highway 136 and Rout 85 in Albany.
In Livingston County the Canadian Pacific Railroad in Chillicothe was replaced and Route V was realigned.
