KCP&L Awards Northwest Students

Kansas City Power and Light awarded prizes to six Northwest Missouri State University students for computer technology research Wednesday.

Senior Doug Wettlaufer from Atchison, Kansas earned first place.
Second place went to senior Bradley Meek from Kansas City.
Junior Duncan Kelly from Ste. Genevieve took third place.
Honorable mentions went to senior Will Trout from Elkhorn, Nebraska; senior Charles Beckler from Friend, Nebraska; and junior Grace Horvath from O'Fallon, Missouri.

The annual competition is open to students in the university's software engineering and systems analysis and design courses.
