It's Easy Being Green

The Northwest Missouri Solid Waste Management District diverted over 35 hundred tons of solid waste in the past 12 years. Region A, one of 20 Solid Waste Management Districts in Missouri is comprised of Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth counties. Region A Administrator Linda Laderoute says a grant recently awarded to the regional council will pay for a survey to measure existing attitudes in communities.
