Livingston County Scams

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office warns area residents of two different scams.

According to Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox several residents recieved phone calls saying they are winners in a Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes.

The second scam residents are being warned of is a mail solicitation from Magda Salarich wanting recipients to call a foreign phone number. Cox adds, intended victims of these scams should be mindful of disclosing any personal information over the phone or by mail.

Livingston County scam victims should report the incident to the Sheriff's Office at 660-646-0515.
