Global Entrepreneurship Week

Events highlighting small businesses begin this week.

Today marks the beginning of Global Entrepreneurship Week. Northwest Missouri State University's Small Business and Technology Development Center and its Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship host a series of programs to celebrate the week. Associate Regional Director of Northwest's Small Business and Technology Development Center Rebecca Evans says the purpose behind the week is to acknowledge the entrepreneurs and the risks they take.

Events this week include a networking breakfast from 7 to 8am tomorrow at Northwest's St. Joseph Center at the Historic Green Acres Building and a program about the Affordable Care Act for Entrepreneurs. That program takes place at 1pm Thursday at the CIE building on Northwest's Maryville Campus. For more information on these and other events this week call 660-562-1701.
