Bartik Book

An autobiography of a Northwest Missouri State University graduate who was an early pioneer in the computer field is out.

The book is titled...Pioneer Programmer: Jean Jennings Bartik and the Computer that Changed the World...The book tells the story of the Stanberry area native and how she helped create the first successful computer. Former Northwest Vice-President of Information Services...Dr. Jon Rickman...co-edited the book with Kim Todd and says it was an honor getting to know Bartik during the last year's of her life.
