Superintendent Retiring

An area school superintendent has announced plans to retire following the current academic year.

Rob Dowis retires as superintendent of the Jefferson C-123 school district. Dowis says he began his teaching career in 1975 and became superintendent at Jefferson sixteen years ago.

After retiring, Dowis says he plans to move to Maryville.
