Northwest Art Visit Day

Northwest Missouri State University's Department of Fine and Performing Arts hosts an Art Visit Day Friday October 18.

The event gives high school students an opportunity to prepare for art-related careers. Dr. Dave Oehler, the Chairman of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, says the Art Visit Day will have informative sessions and hands-on workshops for teachers.

The program includes presentations by student organizations including the Clay Club and the Interactive Digital Media group. The event begins at 9 o'clock in the morning in the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building, located on the south side of College Avenue. Includes a complimentary lunch at 11:30. The event activities end at 2:15 with optional tours afterwards.
