National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week

An alcohol awareness program for students starts next week.

National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week begins Monday at Northwest Missouri State. A group of students will hold alcohol awareness programming through Thursday. The Bearcat Peer Education group's events will take place in the J.W. Jones Student Union. The week's events will include games and pledges to not drink and drive. Northwest Missouri State Health Educator Jennifer Kennymore says it's important to educate students about alcohol use.

Students can participate in the events by visiting the Bearcat Peer Education booth in the J.W. Jones Student Union starting Monday.
