MPS Prescription Drug Collection Program

Maryville Public Safety held their second Prescription Drug Collection Program of the year this past weekend.

Lieutenant Ron Christian says the program is designed to keep residents from disposing of expired prescription drugs in landfills or dumping them into the sewer system. Christian says the number of residents taking advantage of the program this weekend was done from previous efforts.
