Internationally known Flutist visits Northwest

An internationally known flutist visits Northwest Missouri State University for a guest recital.

Dr. Eldred Spell, a widely recognized flutist, and Dr. Charles Badami perform at the Charles Johnson Theater Thursday at 8 o'clock in the evening. Spell was formerly the principal flute of the Sewanee Summer Music Center. He's currently the professor of flute at Western Carolina University. Dr. Rebecca Dunnell, the professor flute of the music area at Northwest Missouri State University, says Spell will also offer a few learning opportunities.

The guest recital Thursday night at eight o'clock is free and open to public.
