Guernsey Agriculture Committee

A Missouri agriculture committee continues discussion's on issues facing Missouri farmer's.

The Interim Committee on Emerging Issues in Agriculture Policy holds its second hearing during the month of October today. Chairman of the Committee, State Representative Casey Guernsey of Bethany says these hearings have recently been aimed towards the dairy industry.

Guernsey says the loss of dairy operations over the past year has effected Missouri's economy, which is driven mostly by agriculture. Today's hearing begins at 11:00 in the morning at the William H. Darr Agriculture Center in Springfield Missouri.
