Common topics of discussion in many house holds include money and parenting.

One issue regarding both has a lot of parents asking questions. Family Financial Education Specialist with the Missouri Extension, Rebecca Travnichek says she gets a lot of questions about allowance from parents. She says the best age to giving an allowance would be kindergarten or first grade.
