Tri-State/MHS Event

This Saturday, Maryville residents will have the opportunity to test drive a new Ford and help the local high school in the same afternoon.

Tri-State Ford is teaming up with Maryville High School for another year of the Drive One for Your School event. President of Tri-State Ford, Todd Hill, says the grassroots event is a chance for people to see advances Ford is making and at the same time, give back to local communities.

Hill says the funds raised from this year's event will go toward new uniforms for the Maryville High School band. Tri-State Ford has participated in eight Drive One for Your School events in the area and, Hill says, they have raised over 22 Thousand dollars for Maryville Athletic Booster Club over the years. There will be a variety of vehicles for people to test drive this weekend, including the F-1150 and Mustang. Again, any person over the age of 18 with a valid drivers license can participate in the Drive One for Your School event. The event will be held at Maryville Middle School from 9am to 3pm, this Saturday, August 17th.
