Higginbotham Retiring

A local icon who has helped serve the citizens of Albany with over 50 years of service is retiring.

Norman Higginbotham is a salesmen of Pettijohn Auto Center, and he says he started working in the automobile industry in the late 60's.

Higginbotham says he has seen many changes in the industry as the years have passed.

Higginbotham says his plans after retirement include spending more time with his grandchildren, and spending a few more hours on the golf course. In honor of his services to the community, a public barbecue will be held Thursday at Pettijohn Auto Center in Albany from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
