Good Night's Sleep

With the new school year here for many school districts, it's highly important for young children to get a proper amount of sleep each night.

Susan Mills-Gray is the health and nutrition education specialist for the University of Missouri Extension, and she says having your children on a set routine each night is what's best.

Mills-Gray recommends shifting to the new routine a week or two before the start of school, letting the child adjust to the sleep schedule by the beginning of school.
