Eckel Architecture Exhibit

The Saint Joseph Museums prepare to open an exhibit commemorating a historical architect.

Edmund J Eckel arrived in Saint Joseph in 1869 and designed most of the city's buildings over the next 65 years. The Eckel exhibit will showcase his desk, drafting table and other office items. Renderings from the Eckel collection will also emphasize his eight different architectural styles. Saint Joseph Museums Public Relations Officer Kathy Reno says the exhibit will be right at home in the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion.
