Dream Season

Two Bearcat Alumni have been nominated for a prestigious award after producing a documentary about the passing of coach Bostwick and the Bearcat football team's 2011 recovery season.

The cultural documentary follows the 2011 Bearcat football team through their transition phase, after the retirment of Coach Tjeerdsma and the sudden passing of coach Bostwick. The documentary, Dream Season, has been nominated for a Mid-American Regional Emmy. Northwest Missouri State University Alumni and co-owner of Mile Marker 8 Production, Katie Denison (Dennis-en), says the reasons she and her partner, Eric Zormes wanted to do this project were because they were Bearcats, they love Northwest and the Maryville community.
