Chillicothe R-II BOE

The Chillicothe R-II Board of Education met Tuesday night for its regular meeting.

The board heard an update to the district's Special Education Compliance Plan. Superintendent of Chillicothe R-II schools, Dr. Roger Barnes, says every couple of years the state mandates changes to the plan.

Also in the agenda Tuesday night was the Tax Rate Hearing. Dr. Barnes says there will be very little change in this year's tax rate.

The Board also discussed the declaration of surplus property, where Barnes says they will place 2 buildings up for sale this year.
