Advice on Hot Weather

Temperatures in the northwest Missouri area have been increasingly high this week.

It's important for people to stay as cool as possible during times of extreme heat. Public Information Supervisor for Livingston County Health Center, Ann Burchett, says she encourages people to stay indoors when temperatures are high.

Burchett says it's highly important to drink a heavy abundance of water.
