An 18 year old Maryville resident sustained moderate injuries after being involved in a single-car accident around 4:40 am yesterday on Route F, four miles east of Maryville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Nicole D. Fox of Maryville was traveling northbound on Route F when she ran her vehicle off the the east side of the roadway into a beanfield. The car then returned to the roadway, crossed the centerline and went off the west side of the roadway striking a fence. The car then traveled into a pasture, struck a hedge post and overturned on the passenger side. Fox was partially ejected out of the passenger front window with her arm pinned under the car. The accident was discovered about an hour-and-a-half later by a passing motorist. She was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital.
