Maryville City Council Meeting

The construction of a new wastewater treatment plant will soon begin in Maryville.

The Maryville City Council approved the contract with David E. Ross Construction Company during last nights Maryville City Council meeting. Maryville Mayor, Jim Fall, says this wastewater treatment plant will bring the city up to date with EPA regulations.

Fall says the cost of the project will be eleven million, four hundred thirty-eight thousand, eight hundred dollars, and has to be completed by a deadline.

Last nights agenda also included a contract approval with Nodaway Valley Bank to serve as the depository of the funds of the City of Maryville.
