Low Blood Donations

Blood supply levels at the Community Blood Center of Kansas City which supplies blood in northern Missouri are low.

Director of marketing and communications for the center, Stan Tate, says their blood supplies are low because of the lack of donations during the summer months.

Tate says oh negative, B negative and A negative blood types are down to about a day's supply. He adds even one donation can make an impact.
